Namibia Post Limited (NamPost) says they are ready to roll-out of the Social Cash Grant Payment program, which starts with Grant Payments and Registration in October 2025.
A statement released by NamPost’s Corporate Communications Officer, Josef Teofelus on Tuesday said the Mobile Payment Program will commence on Monday, 13 October and will be communicated through radio stations, community notice boards, and NamPost social media platforms.
“ NamPost will commence its payment operations with a pilot payout program which will be conducted on Thursday, 09 October 2025, at Okahandja and Omitara Post Offices, while a mobile payout will take place at Groot Aub and Otjimbingwe on the same day,” Teofelus said.
He said the pilot payment program will test final operational readiness ahead of the countrywide cash payment program, According to Tepofelus the in-branch payment program will follow a structured schedule to ensure efficiency and convenience:
“NamPost also wishes to inform beneficiaries that re-registration will be conducted together with payments program and will commence during October 2025 payment,
instead of December 2025 as earlier communicated. “Registration and payment will take place both during mobile payouts at various paypoints and at post offices during
in-branch payouts. Beneficiaries are required to present their national identification document (ID) or Passport together with their current grant card to complete the
Process,” he said
