Namibia Dairies and the Namibia Food and Allied Workers Union (NAFAU) have agreed on a 5% salary increase effective from July.

A combined statement released by the two entities on Monday said the agreement offers a 5% salary increase for all permanent bargaining unit employees and a once-off N$2,300 ex gratia per employee.
About 367 employees will benefit from the payment.

“By putting our people at the heart of our purpose, this approach aligns with Vision 2029,” noted Wynand Oosthuizen – Managing Director, Namibia Dairies said after signing the agreement.

NAFAU’s Tuyeni Michael emphasised the “mutually beneficial outcome that enhances our members’ financial security.”
The statement said the agreement reflects Namibia Dairies’ thoughtful approach to employee relations.
