NAMFISA prioritises education in corporate social responsibility programmed

The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA) says it had made N$ 447,239 available to support educational, cultural, and social programs aimed at uplifting and empowering individuals and communities across the country.
The non-banking financial services regulator said this is in line with its pursuit of promoting inclusive growth, social well-being, and sustainable development.
“ NAMFISA has made significant national contributions to various organisations, schools, councils, and initiatives.

These contributions are aimed at fostering community development, improving access to education, and supporting local enterprises to create positive change and foster sustainable development
in Namibia,” the regulator said in a statement released by its manager for corporate communications, Victoria Raymond.

“NAMFISA plays a meaningful role in society by funding projects and activities that positively contribute to national development in Namibia,” the regulator’s chief executive officer Kenneth Matomola said.
Matomola said NAMFISA’s corporate social responsibility initiatives are guided by policy and , prioritises educational initiatives.
