The Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) Windhoek Branch has elected a new Executive Committee.

They are Elago Nantana as  Chairperson, Jose Mathews, Deputy-Chairperson,  Lukas Mungolo,  Junias Taukuheke,  Prime-Rose Harases, Erastus Nauyoma and Florencia Kavendjii.

In his acceptance remarks  Nantana said his leadership would be guided by a spirit of service to the business community, emphasising that the new knowledge economy is about people, numbers, and working together.

NCCI President Bisey /Uirab said the new exco stems from various sectors including clothing, oil and gas, technology and creative sectors, emerging markets, manufacturing, textile, urban agriculture and food production and meat processing.

“We need each other and that no sector or category is more important than another, noting that the smallest SME contributes just as meaningfully as the largest corporation,” he said.

NCCI  Chief Executive Officer, Titus Nampala, said the chamber is a partner of the Namibian Government in advancing economic growth and emphasised the importance of the Windhoek Branch in policy advocacy and business mobilisation.

He encouraged members to contribute their expertise, enabling the Chamber to address sector-specific challenges and unlock opportunities in high-growth areas.
