OTESA has appointed Hendrina Kapolo as the  Procurement and Tendering Manager and Charmaine Tjirare as the  Training and Development Manager.

The engineering company says this part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership capacity and support the organisation’s strategic growth.

Kapolo brings more than 17 years of experience in procurement, compliance, finance and supply chain management within complex industrial and mining environments, a statement released by the Marketing and Communications Manager, Tracy S. Schaller on Thursday said

Kapolo is expected to strengthen procurement governance, tendering processes, compliance and value-for-money principles across OTESA’s operations.

Tjirare joins OTESA with extensive experience in education and tertiary governance.

Commenting on the appointments, OTESA Chief Executive Officer, Elmo Kaiyamo, said the decisions were guided by the organisation’s strategic direction.

“These appointments reflect the strategic direction OTESA is taking as we continue to grow and strengthen our operational and governance capacity. Procurement and Tendering, and Training and Development are critical pillars for our sustainability and long-term impact. We are confident that Ms Kapolo and Ms Tjirare will make a meaningful contribution to the continued success of OTESA” he said.
