Sanlam Allianz’s Marketing and Communications Consultant, Hilma Petrus says learners must be prepared to explore different career paths, develop adaptable skills and remain open to emerging career opportunities.

She made the remarks at the Namibia National Career expo on Thursday in Windhoek which was sponsored by Sanlam Allianz as well as LearnOnOne and FreshFM.

Petrus said the future of work will reward those who are willing to keep learning, adapt quickly, and remain relevant in a rapidly changing world.

One of the career expo organisers, Emily Kandanga-Erastus, said by Friday the two-day event will have hosted approximately 30 to 35 schools with a total of 40 exhibitors both local and international.

She added that the platform is designed to give learners exposure to various career paths.

Various learners shared what they learned at the career expo with NewsOnOne.
