The Central Procurement Board of Namibia (CPBN will host a bidders workshop in Katima Mulilo on November 20.

The workshop will be held in  partnership with the Zambezi Regional Council.

A statement released by the procurement board’s spokesperson Johanna Kambala said the workshop will deal with the complex process associated with the bidding processes.

She said these complexities have in some cases resulted in many bidders being  disqualified due to incomplete documentation or avoidable errors.

“ To address these challenges, the workshop, targeting the business community in the Zambezi Region and surrounding areas, seeks to educate participants on CPBN’s mandate and how they can effectively participate in its procurement process. Furthermore, the session aims to equip prospective bidders with the practical knowledge and skills required to prepare and submit responsive and compliant bids,” Kambala said..

According to Kambala participants will be guided through the various bidding documents and procedures to ensure they understand the requirements and can accurately complete the necessary documentation for future bid submissions.
