The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy, Natangue Ithete is representing Namibia as the current chair of the African Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction Bereau at the Global Palatform for Disaster Risk Reduction underway in Switzerland, Geneva 02 -06 June 2025.
In his opening statement at the Africa Regional Consultation on the African Common Position to the GP2025, he encourage African governments to speak with one unified voice on their common Disaster Risk Reduction commitment and persisting issues.
