consisted of table grapes, while 14% were tomatoes.

The President noted that while much remains to be done to maximize national benefits from the Green Scheme, some progress has been achieved.

harvested from 1,133.38 hectares, generating N$56.9 million. Also, 609 hectares of wheat planted have yielded N$10.5 million.

“The Namibian Correctional Service (NCS) produced a variety of agricultural and livestock products, including white and yellow maize, wheat, lucerne, vegetables, fruits, pork, beef, mutton, goat meat, chicken, and eggs, valued at N$22.6 million,” she said.
