NamPost resumed the in-branch (Post Office) cash distribution for the February payment on Monday, 09 February.
In a statement, NamPost , Manager Marketing and Corporate Communication, Gladwin Groenewaldt said so far more than 25 percent of the total grants have been successfully disbursed to eligible beneficiaries nationwide.
“Despite a good start, NamPost wishes to inform that some branches experienced network connectivity issues, which our service providers are diligently working to resolve. Finally, we have observed that some individuals not scheduled to receive grants today have visited Post Offices to collect their grants,” he said.
Groenewaldt added that, “We kindly request that all beneficiaries
adhere to their assigned payout dates, as the system is designed to process payments only for the specific group(s) according to the payout schedule. For those receiving multiple
types of grants, rest assured that all payments will be processed simultaneously during your first visit to the Post Office.”
The February 2026 In-Branch (Post Office) Social Grants Payment Programme will run as follows.
Old-Age & Disability Cash Grants: 09 – 11 February 2026
Child Cash Grant: 12 – 14 February 2026
Basic Income Cash Grant: 16 – 17 February 2026
