STAFF WRITERNamPost says they are dealing with challenges experienced last week during a pilot project on the distribution of the National Social Cash Grant Pilot Programme.
“NamPost confirms the completion of Pilot Programme, which was aimed to test system stability and beneficiary turnout,. Considering that Post Offices will remain open for grant distribution throughout the month. NamPost has taken note of some of the challenges experienced during the pilot and wish to confirm important aspects during the nationwide implementation starting on Monday 13th October 2025,” the company’s Manager: Marketing and CorporateGladwin Groenewaldt said in a statement.
He added that the nationwide In-Branch (Post Office) Payment programs will commence today Monday, 13 October 2025.
“The mobile payment team will start at 08h00 on Tuesday, 14 October at various pay points as communicated through various NBC Radio stations. The mobile payment program is subject to change throughout the month. The mobile payment program is subject to change throughout the month,” he said.
He said the In-branch payment program will follow a structured schedule to ensure efficiency and convenience.
He added that Mobile Payment Teams will start to operate from Tuesday, 14th October 2025, and will be communicated daily through various NBC radio stations, community notice boards, and NamPost social media channels.
“The mobile payment team will start at 08h00 at various pay points and the program is subject to change throughout the month. NamPost wishes to inform beneficiaries that social grant money will be available throughout the month from any of the 147 post offices services points for withdrawal,” he added.
